Julie Jones

Dr. Jones is passionate about helping children have a welcoming, caring, and easy dental experience. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biology from Birmingham Southern College. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Jones developed a passion for pediatric dentistry while in dental school and decided to focus her work on treating children and teenagers. She comes to Shelby Pediatric Dentistry with experience treating children of all ages. Dr. Jones was born in Bogota, Colombia and is fluent in Spanish. She moved here at a young age and has lived most of her life in Birmingham. She and her husband, Matthew, and daughter Lucy live in the Oak Mountain area. In their free time, they love to travel, spend time with family and friends, and play with their Great Dane, Henry. Dr. Jones is looking forward to seeing you and your family!
