Dr. Rafia Jabeen

Hi, I'm Dr. Rafia Jabeen, DMD. I believe dentistry should never feel rushed or confusing — it should feel supportive, clear, and tailored to each person. Whether you're bringing in a toddler for a first visit or coming in yourself after a long gap, I take the time to listen, explain what I'm seeing, and make sure you're comfortable before anything starts. A large part of my practice is caring for children and families at Serenity Dental of Bloomingdale. I see kids from their very first tooth through the teen years — first visits, cleanings, exams, sealants, fluoride, and fillings. With younger patients I use a gentle show-tell-do approach: showing each instrument before it's used, moving at the child's pace, and never rushing a kid who needs more time. Most children who start out nervous are settled within a visit or two. I also value the continuity of a family practice — getting to know patients over years, not just appointments. When a whole family comes in together, I can see the full picture and give each person the care that fits them. My goal is simple: every patient leaves with a clearer understanding of their oral health and a plan that actually makes sense for them.
