Dr. Giorgio Petricca and his team at the Periodontal & Implant Clinic, Nanaimo have been helping to protect and preserve the oral health of patients from Nanaimo and surrounding areas since January, 2008. Dr Petricca is a certified specialist in Periodontics. To be a certified dental specialist a dentist must undergo post-dentistry graduate training, then pass both an oral and written national exam from which the credentials, RCDC, is obtained.
