CHAS East Central Dental Clinic

"The need for a community dental clinic in Spokane’s East Central neighborhood was first identified in 2015 after meeting with the MLK Jr. Family Outreach community center. It was found that half of Washington’s Medicaid-insured children under 6 do not access dental care and only 33% 0-2 years old receive a dental visit.

With over 2,000 families accessing services at the existing community center, CHAS Health felt the need to improve the overall health of the East Central neighborhood by expanding access to quality health and wellness services. The East Central Dental Clinic opened in November 2020 and offers many dental services such as exams, cleanings and extractions as well as teledentistry and video visits."
