"Dr. William McLendon graduated from Mercer University in 1976, and then earned his dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. He was one of only five graduates of his class to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. While in the U.S. Air Force from 1980-1988, Dr. McLendon completed a general practice residency at Keesler AFB Regional Medical Center. He subsequently completed his orthodontic residency at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry.
He is an active member of Northwestern District Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, Georgia Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists."
