Health & Hope Clinic

"The Clinic was founded in 2003 by the Pensacola Bay Baptist Association to meet the needs of the uninsured and medically underserved in Escambia County, Florida. It was originally planned as a dental clinic, but with dental services and equipment extremely expensive, a medical clinic was more realistic with available funding. In the early days, there were more volunteers than patients.

Today, hundreds of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and volunteers help provide free health care to the medically underserved of our community. One full-time and two part-time employees are paid out of Clinic funds. All others volunteer their time on behalf of the Clinic. A Board of Directors sets policy and is ultimately responsible for the organization."
