"Our practice was originally established in 1961 by Dr. Nicolas Jones. Retiring in 1999, Dr. Ron Banik took over for him. Dr. Banik grew up in Charleston, graduating from the College of Charleston. He received his doctorate in dental medicine from the Medical University of SC, and went on to complete an advanced dental residency at Richland Memorial Hospital in Columbia, SC. After spending a year in Savannah practicing and teaching, he returned to Charleston in 1999 to continue practicing dentistry in his hometown. He continues to attend numerous advanced dental courses each year and is a member of several dental and community organizations. Dr. Banik is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, Washington."
