"Dr. Derek Winegar has always enjoyed studying cutting-edge technology—whether it’s car engines, computer apps or the latest innovation in dental implants. A Temple, TX dentist, Dr. Winegar is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and he has qualified for fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.

A Salt Lake City, Utah native, Dr. Winegar completed his undergraduate work at the University of Utah, graduating in Medical Biology. He is a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and prior to attending dental school, lived in Africa for two years doing humanitarian work for his church. Dr. Winegar then attended Temple College of Dentistry where he received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) degree."
